ABORTO, UN VIAGGIO FATTO DI BARRIERE

Mentre a Verona si svolge il discusso Congresso sulle famiglie, parliamo di aborto e di applicazione della 194. Un gran numero di donne italiane ed europee viaggiano all’estero o entro i confini nazionali dei loro paesi di residenza per ottenere assistenza all’aborto: 4363 sono le italiane che hanno effettuato una Ivg fuori dalla propria regione. 48 le italiane che hanno abortito in Inghilterra, 535 quelle di “altri paesi” che hanno interrotto la gravidanza in Olanda. 474 le richieste di aiuto arrivate dal nostro paese all’associazione “Women on web”. Il progetto europeo Europe Abortion Accesssupervisionato dall’antropologa sociale Silvia De Zordo, ricercatrice presso l’Università di Barcellona, autrice di ricerche pionieristiche sull’interruzione di gravidanza e sull’obiezione di coscienza in Europa, studia il fenomeno dei viaggi intrapresi per accedere a questo servizio.
